Air Hangat Village & Hot Springs
A rare natural saltwater hot spring in the rural northeast — a modest, genuine soak, best paired with the Friday night market.
Air Hangat ("hot water") is built around a rare natural saltwater hot spring — tiered wells running up to around 42°C — in the rural northeast, about 20 minutes north of Kuah. The spring itself is the genuine draw; the surrounding village of jacuzzi cabins, reflexology and cultural shows is a modest 45–60-minute stop. Bring swimwear if you want to soak.
The soak, and the market
The saltwater spring is the reason to come — unusual, and pleasant for a warm dip. Entry has risen in recent years (older sources still quote less), so confirm at the gate; a private saltwater jacuzzi costs extra.
| Entry (adult) | RM15 — children often free; private saltwater jacuzzi extra — confirm on arrival |

Note
The Friday night market is separate from the paid village — it's held on an open field near the Air Hangat roundabout, roughly 5:30–10pm, and it's smaller and more local than Kuah's, strong on seafood and satay. The ticketed grounds close around 5pm, so the market is the after.
