Kilim & the East
The mangrove coast — limestone rivers, caves and sea eagles — and the rural northeast around Air Hangat.
The east coast is Langkawi's wild, watery side. The Kilim Karst Geoforest Park — mangrove rivers between sheer limestone, caves and cliffs — is the star, explored by boat from the Kilim jetty. Inland, the northeast is rural country: the Air Hangat hot springs (and its Friday night market), and the state-gifts museum at Galeria Perdana.
